
Here I will show you 3 different examples for making
some great stamped ornaments for decorating your house. Most all
materials shown in this project are from Club
Scrap.

Supply list:
Cardstock: Club Scrap
“Sprig” stamp: Club Scrap
“Seasons Greetings” stamp: ANM
Ink: Tsukineko Brillance Gold
Posh Impressions Gold Accent Pen
Crafters Pick Glue
DMC Floss
1.
1. Cut (4)
pieces of green cardstock and (4) pieces of burgundy cardstock all 6 inches x 6
inches. Cut (4) pieces of green
cardstock and (4) pieces of burgundy cardstock all 4 inches x 4 inches. Cut (4)
pieces of green cardstock and (4) pieces of burgundy cardstock all 2 inches x 2
inches.
2. Rubberstamp
“sprig” image in gold on green pieces, stamp “seasons greetings” in gold on
burgundy pieces. Repeat on all squares.
3. Score a
line from corner to corner in both directions.
Repeat on all squares.
4. Cut one
of the score lines from corner to center of square. Repeat on all squares.
5. Fold on
score lines, overlapping flaps creating 3D triangles. Adhere the flaps together.
Repeat on all squares.
6. Adhere
all the triangles together in sets of two (1 top and 1 bottom) alternating
between green and burgundy, once you have 4 sets in one size, then adhere ONLY
three of the sets together, again alternating colors. Set aside and repeat on other two ornaments.
7. Now run a
strip of crafter’s pick glue down the center of the largest ornament. Take a long piece of DMC floss folded in
half, creating a loop at the top of the largest ornament, lay down the center
in the glue. Now attach the last set of
triangles to the ornament. Leave about
1-2 inches between ornaments and repeat steps to attach the next two
ornaments. Let dry
8. Wrap
extra floss around the top of hanging floss to create a faux tassel at base of
ornaments. Trim up floss as needed.

Crafter’s pick glue
1.
1. Cut (8)
pieces of red cardstock 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
2. Rubberstamp
“sprig” image in black, and various “sentiments” in silver on red pieces, Ink
all edges with black ink. Repeat on all
squares.
3. Score a
line from corner to corner in both directions.
Repeat on all squares.
4. Cut one
of the score lines from corner to center of square. Repeat on all squares.
5. Fold on
score lines, overlapping flaps creating 3D triangles. Adhere the flaps together.
Repeat on all squares.
6. Adhere
all the triangles together in two sets of four creating the top and the bottom
of the ornament. When creating top, add
a loop of DMC floss and glue in with Crafter’s pick glue. Let dry.
When creating the bottom, glue in an eye needle to eventually hang the
beads from.
7. Now run a
strip of the wonder tape about the edge of the bottom ornament. Remove red backing on tape and attach beaded
trim. Run another strip of wonder under
on the top ornament, remove backing and attach the top of ornament to the
bottom.
8. Take
another eye needle and feed some of the same beads from the trim onto it. Using needle nose pliers, bend the end of
the eye needle through the eye needle glued in bottom of ornament creating a
closure.

DMC Floss
1.
1. Cut (8) pieces of red cardstock
3.5 inches x 3.5 inches.
2. Rubberstamp “stars” image in silver on red pieces.
Repeat on all squares.
3. Score a line from corner to corner in both directions. Repeat on all squares.
4. Cut one of the score lines from corner to center of square. Repeat on all squares.
5. Fold on score lines, overlapping
flaps creating 3D triangles. Adhere the
flaps together. Repeat on all squares.
6. Adhere
all the triangles together in sets of two (1 top and 1 bottom), once you have 4
sets, then adhere ONLY three of the sets together.
7. Run a
strip of crafter’s pick glue down the center of the ornament. Take a long piece of DMC floss folded in
half, creating a loop at the top of the ornament, lay the floss down the center
of the ornament in the glue. Now attach
the last set of triangles to the ornament.
Let dry.
8. Edge all
sides of ornament using the silver accent pen.
9. Thread on
various beads to the floss and finish off with a crimp bead to hold the beads
in place.
